Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will face Rajasthan Royals (RR) in toadys match the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023.

The match will be held at Rajiv Gandhi Stadium in Hyderabad.

It is the first time SRH will play in front of their home supporters since 2019.

Bhuvneshwar Kumar will lead the SRH as acting captain in the absence of Aiden Markram, who is on national duty with South Africa.

SRH has undergone significant changes to their roster this year, including the appointment of Aiden Markram as captain and the acquisition of Mayank Agarwal and Harry Brook in the auction.

For the upcoming match against RR, the South African trio (Markram, Heinrich Klaasen, and Marco Jansen) will be absent.

The Rajasthan Royals have retained most of their core players from last season, and Sanju Samson will lead the team.

Jos Buttler, Shimron Hetmyer, and Sanju Samson will be the key batsmen for RR.

Yuzvendra Chahal and Ravichandran Ashwin will lead the bowling attack for RR.
